I say every project is my favorite but it was an absolute honor to create a fully custom, redesigned website for a local Kentucky brand, whose pies I have grown up eating at every Kentucky Derby party.

Primary Project Goals:

  1. Create a seamless sales process.

  2. Highlight all 6 products and ensure the website user knows all the options immediately upon visiting the site.

  3. Design a user friendly way to create your own packages and bundles.

Honoring a Legacy

Kern’s Kitchen has been making their famous Derby Pies for over 70 years and wanted a website which not only worked as a strong selling tool but also told the story of their family history, honored their legacy and showed the love and care that went into their production process.

We created an infographic style timeline, which paired old family photos and sentimental antique trinkets with a modern font styling and layout to create an eye catching 7 decade long timeline.
